These people are the most unprofessional that I have ever come across. These people are lovely as long as everything goes fine but as soon as they hit a problem with you they start to flatten you they weren't answer your emails they won't give you your money back even though you have cancelled me in your 14 days of cooling off period if you value your money and your mental health stay away from these people

This was the nudge that we needed to finally get it done!
We had been thinking about getting our Will in order for quite some time. We saw Mark the frontline sales agent at our local superstore and he did a great job of explaining the process and the benefits of using Simpler Law.
As full time professionals and parents, choosing to complete our Will this way made perfect sense as it worked around our busy schedule and not the other way around.
Within hours of making the appointment we had received information about what to expect next and how to prepare for the call.
When the day of the call came we were both a little nervous but any apprehension we were experiencing was quickly put to the rest by Nikki’s calm, professional and reassuring manner.
We were taken through the process with all of our questions being answered as we went along. By the end of the phone call we both agreed that the biggest benefit was the immediate sense of ‘peace of mind’ that we both felt.
Getting our Will organised this way was completely new to us and like most people we just kept putting it off!
We have recommended the process and the company to our friends and family.
A really simple concept executed at a high standard.

UTTER CON MERCHANTS
Pressurised sales tactics on my elderly father, taking a £1 initially to secure booking. I cancelled their home visit immediately via email ... no reply. I tried to call direct ... 'mail box full, call later'. They called me to confirm appointment and take payment, oblivious of my 2 attempts of trying to cancel. They assured me they had not kept my bank details after the £1 deposit and all would be cancelled. Despite me asking my bank to block payment they have still taken a further payment of £48 for no service and cancelled appointment. BEWARE!!! You cannot get in touch yourself and when they contact you they still take payment. I'm having to close this bank account now as I do not trust they would not take further payments! Other reviews from various sources say the same! Their legal status also begs questioning regarding being legitimate solicitors.

Don’t work for them!!
I had some time with a member of staff at a supermarket, and all seems pretty straightforward, and was ask to join them on a date agreed. I then got a call to tell me they didn’t need me, and that I had epilepsy! This shocked me for two reasons, they’d already offered me the job and I have never suffered from epilepsy.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST
I came across their stand in a well known supermarket for writing a will . Their representative came to our house twice and discussed other products and when I asked for their written terms and conditions he said that he would email them to me. Then he emailed my a standard leaflet and refer me to their website to find their price list. When i asked him for more details he did not reply. After a month i rang the number he left me which is constantly engaged and the extension he left does not exist according to their own switchboard. After being kept on the phone for 20 minutes, today at last i managed to speak to a lady who was very rude and abrupt and would not allow me to explain and kept saying that the particular agent is very busy to reply. I am glad I did not signed or commit to anything. If that is how they treat a potential customer, god knows how behave with an existing one. Zero customer service. I am wondering how their trust pilot rating is so high and how they manage to get these rewards? As far as i am concerned they should be awarded the worse company ever.

Do Not Use
Absolutely dreadful. High pressure sales tactics. Payments taken from my account in error after cancellation. Still unable to get money refunded! Cannot speak to anyone other that receptionist when you have a problem. Incorrect information given. Told to ring other companies when payments taken. I cannot find anything positive to say. I wish I had never contacted them in the first place. This is the first and last time I will buy anything through shop tv.

Simpler Law are Dreadful and Manipulative
This is a terrible company!
DO NOT let them get hold of your elderly or infirm relatives.
We are pretty switched on so we could see the manipulation, (thinly-veiled as, “Advice”), but I’m sure many would not.
They refused to stop using their scare tactics when asked politely.
They refused to let us talk to a manager.
They refused to escalate our complaint.
They refused to admit there was a complaint.
Despite asking TWICE for their complaints procedure - nothing!
Please do your research and use another company. A reputable one.
These people just try to scare you into buying more products from them.

Shocking service
After purchasing a will and lasting power of attorney for myself and my husband I can not progress any further as although they say it is in line with Scottish law they fail to explain about the process that you have to go through to try to get it signed. I have been back and forth with them and after sitting for hours waiting to speak to someone on their dedicated aftercare line that I paid for I am told to keep trying to get someone to sign it. On the last phonecall I was told to email a complaint as no manager was willing to speak to me and I would hear back from them. This was over a month ago and I still haven't even had an acknowlegdement email to say they have received my complaint. I have now went down the route of the bank as their service is beyond shocking. Don't do it! It's not worth the months of hassle!

Joke of a Company
Why does this company advertise on a TV programme, reducing the price of wills and power of attorney, when they cannot be bothered to get back to people as said they would, sent a text message to them, message came back that someone will call, no-one has, so decided to phone them, had the option to leave message and again someone will call back, days have gone by and still waiting, cost of a text message has been a waste, and of cause time waiting. I have now given up on this company and would advise others to do the same.

I pay £4 a month and have done for 3 years, this is to update or change my will whenever I want to.. I've spoken to one person who said I needed to speak to consultant, she then said I don't have your documents to change it, I'll call tomorrow, this was a week ago and now no one returns my calls, it's annoying because if I drop dead the wrong people will inherit I'm very cross with the service.

Please don't use this company especially the rude agent called Jack who made my wife cry. Got her name wrong in the documents took 3 weeks to send them my wife has anxiety problems and it's making her ill trying to get through by phone good luck with that will not let us cancel say we are to late.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
I really do not know where to begin but my health is decorating so quickly since I have had any dealings with this company....They definitely do not explain things clearly at all and I believe they were on the television...They probably believe they are film stars....Well I wrote an e mail to them this morning then thought I shall phone them....and guess what they are not there despite the Anna machine stating the hours which are supposed to be 10 till 4pm.....I have lost any trust with them and firmly believe that they definitely take advantage of the " ordinary " person.....I wish I knew what I know now......This consultation is basically listening to a woman prattling on and wanting more and more money from the person.....I was not aware that this was what they call a proper consultation call....to be honest I felt it was some sort of introductory call....and From that date you get 14 days " cooling off" period....anyway I have missed that by 3 days and already paid a few installments......amounting to about £300 to £400 at least.....I could not sleep last night and now I can't get through....Surely somebody should hold these people accountable.....all I can see is complaints.....I want to cancel and I can't get through.....Brilliant....what a shower of scammers imo...I am going to get off here because my anger is rising rapidly....Please do not get involved with this team of so called sicitors

I went up to their display in the Quadrant Swansea at about 3.20pm on a Friday and started to read the display as I really do need to sort my will out.
Their guy comes up to me and says something which I can't catch as I am deaf. I ask him to bear with me as I can't hear and ask if he has something in writing.
He raises his voice and says loud enough for me to hear and with a smirk on his face "Can't hear me? OK. Goodbye."
To date, they have completely ignored my email complaint.
I still need to sort out my will, but I think you can guess which service I will not be using.

Can never get through on the phone
Phoned twice today. Selected department from menu then I was holding for 40 minutes no one took my call, I had to hang up even though in the beginning it said call waiting time was 15 minutes. I pay a monthly fee to them not really sure why because I can never get hold of them!

Really bad service avoid
We. Purchased Will and power of attorney for me and my husband . Price given before appointment £500.00. Now seven months on we are sitting at £1690.00.and still do not have power of attorney paperwork. They do not call back or answer emails.

Shocking so please avoid
Absolutely shocking service, didn’t even address a proposed WILL to the full named person and it was seen by the wrong person first, absolutely fuming with them so my advice is don’t use them unless you want others to see personal documents before you. I had to just Destroy the WILL and not return it because if that’s how my privacy is handled by this company I’d sooner not let them deal with my wishes after death.
Apparently there were also 2 WILLS sent and I only got to see one of them so what happened to the first I wonder!! Need I say anymore!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
My will, drafted by The Planning Crowd (now Simpler Law), was recently reviewed by a solicitor and essentially it wasn't fit for purpose. My POA which I requested to be registered with the Office of the Public Guardian was never registered and has instead been languishing in Simpler Law's secure storage facility for the last 3 years. My advice is to avoid these cowboys and pay for the services of an appropriately qualified expert instead.

THE WOMEN WHO SPOKE TO MY MOTHER WAS RUDE, PUSHY & EXTREMELY HARSH. WE ARE IN COMPLETE SHOCK.
After literally the first few words, she made my mother upset with her telephone manner.
She left my mother in a flood of tears, calling her HOSTILE! NAME CALLING AN ELDERLY LADY!
She accused me of being in the room the whole time when I walked in at the end - total lies to end the call quickly.
SHE PUT THE PHONE DOWN!
When writing a will you expect a friendly, lovely kind and informative service - this company is none of those things. Its a sensitive subject!
The woman I spoke to was absolutely disgusting and does not even deserve a job. Karma will come back and speak to her loved ones in the same manner. I am now taking my complaint further to the to to see to that she is fired from her role. I will not stop, I want to speak to her personal manager.
